REVIEW

I thought I would try a new way to organized my thoughts of the resort. I will list some key Pros &some key Cons, then provide you my overall opinion.

Pros:
  • Entertainment staff was very interactive and made beach, pool, and evening activities very enjoyable

  • Easy access to water bottles at all times and all parts of the resort – something I personally loved!

  • Low occupancy actually played in our favor as we rarely ever had to wait for a drink

Cons:
  • Service overall was relatively poor – waiting times for dinner, some of the staff clearly did not want to be there

  • Low occupancy led to half the restaurants being closed on any given night, really only 4 options per night, 1 of which was always the buffet

  • Mosquitoes – did not seem like the surroundings were fumigated, and the resort terrain with more trees/shade made it perfect stomping ground to get eaten by the mosquitoes. I probably had 20-30 bites by the time I returned home.

  • Vendors were aggressive and pushy. Wed & Sun on the resort mid-afternoon into the evening. Did not make the best first impression when we arrived on that Wednesday.

Overall, I believe the Pros outweighed the Cons on this trip, and I was overall disappointed with this resort. I sometimes read the reviews of other people, but always try to give it a fair, unbiased opportunity to make my own review. Many reviews were eventually confirmed, but from a negative perspective. And many people that we met had the same complaints and issues that we had encountered during our stay. I was not taken away with this resort, as I had been at Palladiums & TRS locations during this summer. We made the most of though, just like any type of trip of this nature – you have to take a step back and realize you are at an All-Inclusive Resort in the Caribbeans. Still can be grateful for it and not let it affect your entire vacation. Anyways, out of the many resorts I have stayed at in the Caribbeans the past few months, I do not believe I would be returning to this one.
